History AutoCAD is one of the oldest CAD applications in the world. The beginnings of AutoCAD can be traced to the computer-aided drafting program UNICAD (1971-1976), which was developed by the United States Army for the US Army Corps of Engineers. AutoCAD is the descendent of a time when these military engineers, architects, and other technical professionals needed to share design information, which was done on paper and was sent by mail. The current version of AutoCAD is one of the most advanced CAD programs available today. Its capabilities include 2D drafting and design, 2D and 3D modeling, animation, rendering, and printing. The ability to transfer design information over a network is also an important part of AutoCAD’s capabilities. AutoCAD is a popular CAD program and has grown in popularity because of its flexibility. Today, AutoCAD’s user base consists of architects, engineers, drafters, construction professionals, and their design teams. Many of these users have learned to work with AutoCAD by viewing other engineers’ drawings on the AutoCAD Web site, which is available on the Internet. AutoCAD is marketed under several different names. These include: A-R, AutoCAD Architectural Release, AutoCAD Architectural Plus, AutoCAD Architectural Raster, AutoCAD Architectural Unlimited, AutoCAD Architectural Xpress, AutoCAD Design Raster, and AutoCAD Design Unlimited. AutoCAD Architectural was first introduced in May of 1984, and AutoCAD Design was first introduced in May of 1988. Autodesk has changed the name of the A-R releases to AutoCAD Raster Releases in mid-2015. The E, F, and R releases are available for free, whereas the A, B, and C releases require a subscription fee. Many of AutoCAD’s capabilities were improved as a result of the AutoCAD Best Practice Advisory Group (BPAG), which was organized in 1993. In addition to the development of the AutoCAD Raster version, the BPAG has also focused on the improvement of the core AutoCAD application, as well as other AutoCAD features.

Version history

AutoCAD LT (now known as AutoCAD Architecture) is a professional drawing program designed for architects and mechanical and electrical engineers that began in 2002. The first public beta version was released in March 2002. The product was developed by Architonic. The product is no longer sold.

Prior to Autodesk acquiring Architonic in late 2004, Autodesk LT was a relatively new design product in the AutoCAD line of products. This was an attempt to develop a more refined architectural and structural design program. This was not AutoCAD’s first attempt at a new architectural/structural design program. Autodesk had previously offered a similar program, called AutoCAD 2000. This product was offered in late 1996, long before AutoCAD was released. AutoCAD 2000 became the first major success of AutoDesk, which has been quite successful since then in the architectural design industry.

It took AutoDesk about five years to develop and to release a new drawing program. This is a long time to wait for people who want to design any kind of product or for people who want to get their money back.

After this development of AutoCAD 2000, Autodesk was still able to deliver a new drawing program by Autodesk LT.

In 2005, Autodesk acquired Architonic and merged it with its own AutoDesk product line. AutoDesk was renamed to Autodesk. In addition, Autodesk LT was renamed to AutoCAD Architecture.

In 2007, AutoCAD released the first version of AutoCAD since 2002. The design of AutoCAD Architecture was the first time that Autodesk utilized ObjectARX, a C++ class library and plug-in. The architecture of AutoCAD Architecture was also the first time that Autodesk created a C++ based plug-in for AutoCAD.

In 2008, the first release of AutoCAD Architecture 3D was released. This 3D version of AutoCAD Architecture was based on the DCC technology. DCC (Dimension Control Code) is a technology introduced by Autodesk that allows sharing 3D models and animations.

Autodesk released AutoCAD 2010 on August 31, 2009. It included some new features.

In March 2011, Autodesk released AutoCAD 2013. AutoCAD 2013 was based on the new CATIA architecture. CATIA was developed by 3D Systems.

Then in your autocad «My products» window, go to Autocad 360, choose your licence and click ok.

Select «Help» and open «About Autocad 360». It should show the same information as your licence key.

Hope this helps you.

You can’t.

As mentioned by @Whetzel, you can’t.
You cannot generate a key that was already generated and used by someone else (it would take someone who has the full version of AutoCAD, Autocad 360 and Autocad 360 Licence Manager to steal a key to another computer or device from yours).

Microsoft only issues one unique licence to a single machine. If you have more than one copy of Autocad, you would have to licence the additional copies yourself, and assign one of your licence to each device.
You should have a look at this page.

Today, Monday, our staff is writing letters of thanks to your schools, your students and the teachers, principals, and custodians in your schools for the work they do to keep our kids safe and make our schools and communities a little bit safer.

We want to share some of the amazing work we’ve heard from you, including this letter written by our own student Kieffer Smith who is a junior at Skyline High School in San Carlos, California:

“Hi, I’m Kieffer. I’m a 9th grade student at Skyline High School, and I would like to thank everyone for keeping our school safe. I also would like to thank all the teachers, counselors, and principals for supporting us with their words of kindness. In this world, people can get very quick to judge and hurt others. By supporting us, you have shown us that you support us and are there for us when we need you. I’m glad I’m a student at Skyline High School and I look forward to all the friendships and memories I have here.”

Want to share your story? You can upload a letter with photos in your community and share it with others at Keeping Kids Safe. For ideas on how to get involved, visit our Get Involved page.

And to tell us what your school is doing to make your community safer, please click here and share your story with us.

Thank you to everyone for your work and support. It means a lot to all

What’s New in the?

Introducing Dynamic Guides:

Gaps and miter cut corners are minimized or eliminated in your drawings. The underlying structure of your drawing is dynamic, which means that it can be more easily modified without breaking existing relationships. (video: 3:20 min.)

Introducing Dynamic Blocks:

Flexible blocks are easily moved and snapped to any points. You can customize the look of your block while also saving your time. (video: 2:40 min.)

Introducing Shared Memory Blocks:

Different drawings can share the same information without sharing your drawing. You can use them to communicate with other people with a drawing or as a shared location for parts in the drawing. (video: 2:40 min.)

Introducing Tools that AutoCAD’s designers love:

Fuzzy placement, cross-hairs, bullet selection, and more. You can also use image-based tool creation. (video: 2:40 min.)

Creating Context-Sensitive Windows:

Different tools and windows can show or hide their data depending on the drawing context. (video: 2:40 min.)

Advanced Z-Ordering:

Z-Order a drawing with the visual context that is most important. Your plans, views, elevations, and section planes all have a hierarchical relationship to one another and to the rest of the drawing. With advanced z-order, all the information and references that you need are right there, helping you to make better decisions when you are creating your drawing. (video: 2:40 min.)

Introducing Chained Data Blocks:

Create complex information management systems with data blocks. You can use chained data blocks to store information in your drawing and you can manage that information with all the information already in the drawing. (video: 2:40 min.)

Introducing the Drafting Data Form (DDF):

Use the DDF to store data, such as measurements and drawing scale, to ease model data entry. (video: 1:15 min.)

Introducing the Drafting Data Form (DDF) in AutoCAD R17:

A new data type, DDF, replaces the old Tag Manager and DWG Data Management Form. DDFs can be used in drawings created with AutoCAD R17 or earlier and have several advantages over the traditional Tag Manager
